CINNAMON BAY CAMPGROUND
MAIN PATH

The taxi dropped us off at the main office of the campground. We registered (once again, at the easy pace of the islands - what's the rush?).  It didn't take me long to figure out that I was only going to raise my blood pressure if I bothered looking at a watch, and that I better get used to standing in lines.  We got a wheelbarrow type device, chucked all our stuff in it, and wandered off to find Tent Site #41.

The path you see above leads down from the office, store, restaurant, and taxi stand/parking lot to the campground area off to the right, the cottages off to the left, and the bay directly ahead.  They have a rental stand where we got snorkel gear for the week ($4/day/person - not bad).  They also rent sailboats, windsurfers, and kayaks.  We noticed these squirrel type creatures running around, but it turns out they're mongooses (mongeese? mongoosi?).
